Neither cubed figs, nor raisins need refrigerated storage, neither in storage of the dealer, nor at home. Their shelf life is uncomparably long. Economic price, is another advantege these dried fruits have among cake mixes, besides their very agreable taste and very nutritive values.

Also worth mentioning is that cooking time of both cubed figs and raisins are very similar to dough of cake itself. So baker or housewife needs no “preparation” before making the cake.
